Hi folks,
To round off the season in style, a Forest League Inter-Club Finale has been organised – bringing all six clubs together for a fun, slightly different competition format.
There’ll be a cash prize for the winning club, along with a few other prizes along the way.
With Yorkley able to host across three mats, it felt like the perfect venue for the event.
We’ve introduced a few twists to the usual format, and importantly, each team will play five matches – so there’s scope to bring along more players and rotate your squad.

📅 Event Details
- Date: Tuesday 5th May
- Start Time: 6:30pm (earlier 6:15pm start if possible)
- Location: Yorkley
- Teams: 1 team of 4 per club (rolling subs allowed)
- Entry Fee: £16 per team
- Prize: £50 to the winning club
🏆 Competition Format
- Round Robin – each team plays all others
- 5 ends per match
- Standard Forest League rules apply except:
🔄 Rule Variations
- Jack off the mat: 2 shots awarded (all ends)
- Big scoring: 6+ shots = +1 bonus point
- Games 1–3: Joker Cards
- Each team has 2 jokers
- One joker per match
- Declared by the skip before their first bowl
- That end scores double shots (regardless of who wins it)
- Games 4–5:
- Final end scores double shots
