Last evening’s Forest League Plate Final at Yorkley delivered a fitting tribute to the competition, with Westbury Wombles emerging as worthy winners. The Wombles secured victory with an impressive three wins from their four matches, demonstrating consistency and control throughout the evening.
A special moment followed the conclusion of play, as the newly introduced Tony Freegard Cut Glass Trophy was presented by Tony’s wife and daughter. The occasion was made even more meaningful by the presence of many of Tony’s former teammates, who attended to show their support and celebrate his legacy.
