I'm afraid your correspondent was late arriving and so missed the Foxes crushing the Wombles 11-2 and the Squirrels getting the better of the Boars 9-6.
In the second round, the Foxes continued causing mayhem with another emphatic win against the Squirrels 11-2, while the Wombles managed to steady the ship, with a 10-7 win over the unlucky Boars.
In the final round, the unstoppable Foxes racked up their third consecutive 11 shot score to overwhelm the unfortunate Boars 11-4. On the other mat, the Wombles were unceremoniously swept aside by the irrepressible Squirrels 12-2.
