Hi folks
I thought it would be a nice idea if we got all 6 clubs together for an end of season Forest League finale so have come up with the attached little competition – with a cash prize for the winning club (+ a few other prizes along the way)
As Yorkley can put down 3 mats, it seemed logical to hold it there.
A few new twists to the normal format and all teams get to play 5 matches so hopefully you will feel you can bring along more than the usual 4 team members.
Hopefully all clubs will want to take part, Club secs; PLEASE confirm asap that your club will be in attendance.
An earlier start of 6-15 if possible.
See you all at the various finals in April or at the ‘Finale’ on May 5th

INTER-CLUB FINALE
Tuesday 5th May – 6:30pm
Venue: Yorkley
Format:
- One team of 4 from each of the 6 Forest clubs
- Unlimited substitutions allowed during each game
- Round robin format – each team plays all others over 5 ends
Forest League Rules Apply, except:
- Jack off the mat: 2 shots awarded (all ends)
- Bonus point: Scoring 6 or more on an end earns 1 bonus point
- Games 1–3 (Jokers):
- Each team has 2 ‘joker’ cards
- Maximum of 1 joker per match
- Must be played by the skip before the first bowl
- That end scores double shots (regardless of which team wins it)
- Games 4–5:
- Final end scores double shots

Entry: £16 per team
Prize: £50 to the winning club
This will be a great opportunity for all six clubs to come together, enjoy a competitive evening, and trial some alternative formats ahead of next season.
