Last season we tried a Semi-final and Final format, which didn’t really work and it all felt a little flat.

This year’s competition will be round robin, with everyone playing each other once, the same as we have had all season.

If at the end of the evening we have teams with the same number of points, the winner will be decided by a penalty shootout. I will explain how this will work on the night and if needed, it should prove to be an exciting finale to the evening. To my knowledge this hasn’t been tried in short mat bowls before, but the Forest League has never been frightened to try something new.
