SUMMARY:Forest League Inter-Club Finale
DESCRIPTION:Hi folks \nI thought it would be a nice idea if we got all 6 clubs together for an end of season Forest League finale so have come up with the attached little competition – with a cash prize for the winning club (+ a few other prizes along the way) \nAs Yorkley can put down 3 mats\, it seemed logical to hold it there. \nA few new twists to the normal format and all teams get to play 5 matches so hopefully you will feel you can bring  along more than the usual 4 team members. \nHopefully all clubs will want to take part\, Club secs; PLEASE confirm asap that your club will be in attendance. \nAn earlier start of 6-15 if possible. \nSee you all at the various finals in April or at the ‘Finale’ on May 5th \n  \nMike\n(League organiser) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nINTER-CLUB FINALE\nTuesday 5th May – 6:30pmVenue: Yorkley \nFormat: \n\nOne team of 4 from each of the 6 Forest clubs\nUnlimited substitutions allowed during each game\nRound robin format – each team plays all others over 5 ends\n\nForest League Rules Apply\, except: \n\nJack off the mat: 2 shots awarded (all ends)\nBonus point: Scoring 6 or more on an end earns 1 bonus point\nGames 1–3 (Jokers):\n\nEach team has 2 ‘joker’ cards\nMaximum of 1 joker per match\nMust be played by the skip before the first bowl\nThat end scores double shots (regardless of which team wins it)\n\n\nGames 4–5:\n\nFinal end scores double shots\n\n\n\n\nMatch Schedule\nGame 1 \n\nMat 1: Yorkley (h) vs Westbury\nMat 2: Longhope (h) vs Forest of Dean\nMat 3: Huntley (h) vs Woolaston\n\nGame 2 \n\nMat 1: Longhope vs Woolaston (h)\nMat 2: Yorkley (h) vs Huntley\nMat 3: Westbury (h) vs Forest of Dean\n\nGame 3 \n\nMat 1: Westbury (h) vs Huntley\nMat 2: Forest of Dean (h) vs Woolaston\nMat 3: Yorkley vs Longhope (h)\n\n— Refreshment Break (please bring your own) — \nGame 4 \n\nMat 1: Yorkley vs Forest of Dean (h)\nMat 2: Longhope vs Huntley (h)\nMat 3: Westbury vs Woolaston (h)\n\nGame 5 \n\nMat 1: Westbury vs Longhope (h)\nMat 2: Yorkley (h) vs Woolaston\nMat 3: Forest of Dean (h) vs Huntley\n\n\nEntry: £16 per teamPrize: £50 to the winning club \nThis will be a great opportunity for all six clubs to come together\, enjoy a competitive evening\, and trial some alternative formats ahead of next season. \nPlease confirm your club’s entry as soon as possible.(The more players you bring\, the better!)
